Terms of service
The rules for using ViralTracker, in plain words.
Last updated 19 October 2026
Who we are
This site is run by ViralTracker. For anything about these terms, write to viraltrackerapp@gmail.com.
By creating an account or using ViralTracker, you agree to these terms. If you use it for a company, you confirm that you may accept them for it.
The service
ViralTracker watches public posts on selected sports subreddits and public news feeds. It scores how fast each post is climbing against its own subreddit and shows the results on a web dashboard, a news feed and a list of recent catches. Paid plans add alerts in Discord. What each plan includes is listed on our pricing page.
Free trial
New accounts get a free 3-day trial of the web dashboard and the news feed. Discord alerts are not part of the trial. No card is needed and nothing is charged when the trial ends. There is one trial per e-mail address. A colleague you invite gets their own account and the same free trial.
Pre-orders
Basic, Custom and Newsroom are open for pre-order. A pre-order tells us which plan you want, at the price on our pricing page. There is no payment today. Before your plan starts, we confirm the start date and the price with you by e-mail. You can withdraw any time before the start: just reply to our e-mail. The first invoice comes only after you confirm.
Plans, billing and cancelling
- Basic: $0.99 a month.
- Custom: $4.99 a month.
- Newsroom: $9.99 a month.
- All three plans are monthly. You can cancel any time: cancel before your next billing date and you are not charged again.
- No VAT is added to our invoices (we are not VAT registered). Every payment comes with an invoice issued in Czechia.
- If a price changes, we tell you by e-mail before the new price applies to you.
Your account
Sign-in links and codes are personal: do not share them or your account. Each person needs their own account. To bring in a colleague, use the invite link on your account page. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
Content from Reddit and acceptable use
- Posts, photos and videos shown in ViralTracker belong to their authors and rights holders. We show them with credit to the subreddit and the author and a link to the original post.
- When you use content from Reddit, follow Reddit's User Agreement and its policies.
- Keep the credit. When you publish something you found through ViralTracker, credit the original source.
- Respect deletions. When a post is deleted or removed on Reddit, we remove it from ViralTracker as soon as we notice. Do not keep or republish copies of content you know was deleted.
- We do not license photos, videos or other media. Clearing the rights before you publish is your responsibility.
- Do not copy or export the raw data from ViralTracker in bulk, pass it on, resell it or build a dataset from it.
- Do not use content or data from ViralTracker to train or fine-tune AI or machine learning models.
- Do not scrape the service, overload it, get around its access limits or security, or resell access to it.
Availability
We run ViralTracker on a best effort basis. There is no uptime guarantee and no service level agreement. The service depends on Reddit, news sources, Discord and our hosting provider, and it can be slow or unavailable when they are. We may improve, change or remove features. Scores and alerts are automated signals, not verified news: checking the facts before you publish is up to you.
Liability
ViralTracker gives you signals to support editorial decisions. What you publish is your decision. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect loss, such as lost profit, lost audience or lost data, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us for the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.
Ending
You can stop using ViralTracker at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Our privacy notice explains what happens to your data.
Law
These terms are governed by Czech law, and disputes go to the courts of the Czech Republic. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection that the law of your country gives you.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change matters for you, we e-mail you before it takes effect. The date at the top shows the latest version.
